Belle Meade
Prior to Prohibition, Nelson's Greenbrier Distillery produced some of the best-selling whiskey in the United States. The Nelson family has restarted the distillery, using whiskey sourced from MGP until their own is old enough to sell. Belle Meade is produced from only four barrels at a time. The nose is applesauce and cinnamon, but the palate is chocked full of spicy rye, apricots, apples, and oak. A nicely balanced whiskey.
