Little Book 2021 Release “The Invitation”

Turning the page into 2021, Little Book Chapter 5: “The Invitation” is the fifth chapter in 8th Generation Beam Distiller Freddie Noe’s Little Book Whiskey annual release series. A bled of 2-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon comes off the still and goes into the barrel at a lower proof. A 3-Year-Old malted 100% rye whiskey, 5-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon and a 15-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon provides a heavier barrel flavor. This liquid specifically adds a lot of complexity in the final blend. Altogether this creates a palate with flavors of caramel and toasted bread, with brown sugar undertones and a touch of sweetness.
