Napa Cellars

Napa Valley notoriously produces some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the world. Winemaker Joe Shirley has selected fruit from a variety of vineyards throughout Napa Valley including Atlas Peak, Oak Knoll and St. Helena, and surrounding areas. Following harvest, the grapes were brought to the winery for processing and underwent a 12-24 day maceration period. Once the wine had fermented, it was placed in 96% French and 4% Hungarian oak barrels, and aged for 21 months to produce the rich, deep, varietally true Cabernet Sauvignon. This Cabernet Sauvignon boasts bold, deep, aromas of blackberry, cassis, mocha, plum and tobacco with notes of vanilla and savory oak spice. Matched by flavors of dark fruit, toffee, cinnamon, black pepper and toasted brioche, the wine is complete and well structured with a rounded body and lingering acidity
