Founded in 2007 by Raj Bhakta, WhistlePig Farm released its flagship product, a ten-year old straight rye whiskey named WhistlePig, in 2010. Although a distillery has been built on the farm, WhistlePig is 100% rye whiskey sourced from ADL in Canada, which is then finished in used bourbon barrels. The result has been overwhelming praise. Expect plenty of spicy clove and nutmeg combined with sweet notes of caramel, toffee, and candied citrus.
